Professional Workshop (20 CE)

Saturday – Monday, August 22-24, 2015, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm PDT

The foundation of Clean Language was born out of David Grove’s aspiration to respect the integrity of the client’s experience; to discover the true value of what makes feelings amenable to change, and a profound propensity to remain congruent to the client’s experience. Over the decades that David and Cei worked together they developed conditions that achieved a faithful accuracy between the information contained in a client's language and the resolution to the problems. Cei has continued to expand on the theory and application of Clean Language. Therapeutic discourse has its own inherent grammar and syntax. This Primary Process Language is language that each individual uses to describe their thoughts and feelings. When the client’s symptoms do not change with cognitive therapies, it is an indication that the provenance lies within earlier events or conditions. Clean Language questions develop the primary language constructs into Epistemological Metaphors that act as custodians of the original experience, even when little or no memory is available. The information is then matured for a resolution congruent to the original owner of the symptoms and deeply agreeable with the adult client.

Personal Journey

Wednesday, August 26, 2015 10:00 am – 4:00 pm PDT

Unresolved childhood trauma appears in the uncontrollable symptom expression such as: migraines, panic attacks, negative thoughts, depression, anger, fear and anxiety. These symptoms are the mind’s unsuccessful attempts at resolving past trauma. However, by translating these symptoms into the psychological imagery of Epistemological Metaphors, you can learn to resolve traumatic experiences content free, without triggering specific memories. Through your own Personal Journey, you can learn to work through unresolved thoughts and feelings, even when you remember little or nothing about the trauma.
